Consitution and By-laws
The name of the Club shall be the Caucasian Ovcharka Working Dog of America also referred to as COWDCA.
Our goals are:
Members of COWDCA may create new Bylaws based on a two-thirds vote at any annual meeting held by the Board of Directors
Offices- All official COWDCA meetings shall be held in the state of Ohio. Any other office meeting locations will need to be voted on (either through a message board, or a meeting prior to said location change) with a two-thirds vote approval.
Place of meetings- Board of Directors must give all members a week notice of where each meeting will be held. Members must attend each annual meeting in order for their vote on any regulation or election to be valid. Members are allowed to attend meetings via virtual communication in which they can give their verbal consent on their votes to our officials.
Membership- There may be three types of membership- Annual Membership, Junior Membership, and Foreign Membership. All annual dues for each member must be paid in full by the end of January of each year. Any member who does not pay their annual dues be the end of said deadline will be reviewed by the Board of Directors for revocation.
Member qualification- Any person who is in good standing with the AKC will be qualified for member registration. Any member who is registered in COWDCA and is deemed to be acting in unethical or questionable behavior may be reviewed by the Board of Directors for revocation.
